Our Story

Established in 2012. Built on Relationships.

Armessen Build was established in Sydney in 2012, built on the principles of quality craftsmanship, honest communication and lasting relationships with our clients.

As an owner-operated building company, we've deliberately remained hands-on. Rather than focusing on the number of projects we complete, we take on a select number at a time, allowing us to give each project the attention it deserves.

From major renovations and extensions to heritage restorations and custom homes, we work closely with our clients, architects and trusted trades to deliver quality results. We believe that good communication, careful planning and attention to detail are just as important as the finished product.

Meet the Builder

Peter Armessen

Founder & Licensed Builder

Peter's career in residential building began straight out of Year 12, starting as a labourer with a boutique residential builder and working his way up through the ranks to project management.

While working full-time in residential building, Peter completed a Bachelor of Business at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), majoring in Accounting and Finance. He then dedicated a further four years to night studies at St George TAFE, obtaining his Certificate IV and Diploma in Building — all while continuing to work full-time in the industry.

In 2012, Peter established Armessen Build to combine his practical building knowledge, project management experience and formal qualifications, with a focus on quality workmanship, honest communication and providing clients with a positive building experience.

Today, Peter remains personally involved in every project, working closely with clients, architects and trusted trades from early planning through to construction and handover.

Building or renovating should be an exciting experience, not a stressful one. My goal is to make the process as enjoyable and straightforward as possible, while delivering a finished result my clients can be proud of.
